Some tips on visiting us...

Just a couple of suggestions on how to make your trip to Owl's Head Farm safe, enjoyable and pleasant. It may be hot when you leave home for an evening of picking, but the air temperature can cool off quickly in the country when the sun sets. It is always best to bring a hat and jacket. This is especially true for the children.

Bugs aren't generally a problem until dusk, but we suggest you come prepared with your chosen potion.

Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the gate.

We are unable to accomodate pets. Please leave your pets at home during your visit to the farm.

Trash poses a special problem in the country. We are simply not able to deal with household and food waste in the field. We ask you to be prepared to take home your picnic waste.

Please no tables or heating/cooking devices of any kind.

Recycle (re-use) Your Baskets and Field Flats Remember those field flats and pulp baskets you took home with last year's harvest? They're likely out in the garage or down in the basement. We want to remind you to re-use them this year.
