Special Events

Pickers can enjoy live entertainment on most Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Owl's Head Farm during the blueberry season.

This year's crop is very promising, so we expect a long and abundant harvest season. Entertainment for our pickers is free with a 2 quart mimimum purchase per person. A per person donation is requested of all others.

Last year we scheduled music evenings featuring:

• Saint Andrews pipers - traditional bagpipe music

• Blues For Breakfast - Rocking blues.

• The Gordon Stone Band - original jazz featuring the banjo.

• Shellhouse - rock and roll.

• Full Circle - enjoy an evening of peace and tranquility -- formerly the Barber Farm Consort playing traditional recorder music

• Past the Point - bluegrass and jazz.

• Deja Nous - French jazz caberet.

• Harmonica Man - traditional blues and original compositions on diatonic harmonica

• Longford Row - Irish tunes

Evening music begins around 6:30 pm and ends about 8:00 pm. Concerts will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Enjoy the views, cool off and chill out after a hot day at work. The experience will be one you'll be sure to remember. Bring the family and be our guest for an evening of music while you pick.
